Packaged Gravy Mix?

I can admit that gravy is not something I'm good at.

I've been told plenty of times that "Gramma's gravy is better."

Therefore, I rarely make gravy.

Occasionally, I'll make some with sausage or when we have round steak and mashed potatoes.

But honestly, it's always a bit too thick so I can't argue with my kiddos.

Sooooo, I decided to try this packaged brown gravy for two reasons:

it's incredibly easy

my kids LOVE KFC's brown gravy

Here it is...

And here it is prepared and slathered over mashed potatoes

And guess what?

They LOVED it!

I'll be making it again for sure!
